Profile
My father, George S. Powers, started this company in 1951. He learned his trade from a few people but one stood out - a man named Bill Mitchell from Clyde, New York, who owned the Continental Company of Clyde.
My father always expected the best from his employees and always gave his best to his customers. He passed this onto my brother,
Ronald, and myself (Spencer). He always said "If you wouldn't want it on yours, don't give it to your customers" and "A cheap job is not good and a good job is not cheap".
So you see after all these years, it is still all about pride, character and professionalism at GS Restoration Services. Spencer grew up in central New York. He is married and has one child, a son.
